Jason was a Christian, incredible, loving, and sensitive young man. He was a sophomore at Clay County High when he was killed in a one-car accident on his way to basketball practice.

Jason loved to play football and basketball. He was a member of the 2001 Clay County High State Championship football team. He also loved his family and his many, many friends. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Ashland, and was active in his youth group.

There are so many things about Jason that we miss. We miss his mischievous grin, his beautiful blue eyes, and silky, white blond hair. We miss his laugh and his amazing sense of humor. We just miss our Jason.

Jason is survived by dad and mom, Mike and Jacqueline Patterson; brothers, Jeremy and Mark Patterson; grandparents, Edna Patterson and Alton Ogles; Uncle Charlie; his cousins, and an enormous number of friends. Jason's grandmother, Jaffries Ogles, died recently, but survived Jason for two and one-half years.

We love you, Jas. You are forever in our hearts!
